Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Austin PBS KIDS

Posted on Sep 15, 2022

Join Austin PBS KIDS as we celebrate and recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic and Latin American communities with the premiere of Rosie's Rules, special episodes of Alma's Way and Let's Go Luna! honoring Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 through October 15.

Rosie's Rules

Rosie’s Rules is a preschool family sitcom about a little girl just beginning to learn about the fascinating, baffling, thrilling world beyond her family walls - and it doesn't always go smoothly. In her resilient quest to make sense of the world's most mystifying concepts, she often plows her way into comic chaos. It's "learning-by-doing" and she usually does it a little bit wrong before she gets it right. Premieres Monday, October 3 at 7:30 a.m. on 18.4 and 9 a.m. on 18.1.

Alma's Way

Ever wish you could pause life long enough to figure out the answers to all your problems? Alma can! Follow her adventures in Alma’s Way, as she learns to think for herself, making mistakes and decisions and finding solutions along the way!

No-Go Mofongo/Alma vs. Eddie on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. on 18-4.
Alma the Artist/Bomba or Baseball on Friday, Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. on 18-4.

Let's Go Luna!

Follow the adventures of three friends - Leo, a wombat from Australia; Carmen, a butterfly from Mexico; and Andy, a frog from the U.S. as they traverse the globe with their parents' traveling performance troupe, "Circo Fabuloso." At each of the Circo's stops, Luna the Moon guides the trio as they get to know the local region and its people. The gang's adventures take them through cities around the globe - from London to Cairo to Beijing - where they explore the food, music, art, architecture and other features that make each place distinctive.
