A miniature Japanese china set made for dolls and a Chinese Imperial ceremonial outfit are featured.In Bismarck, North Dakota, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Richard Johnston travel to the Vintage Guitar Magazine headquarters to discuss Larson Brothers guitars. Highlights include a miniature Japanese china set, ca. 1925, made for dolls and includes high-quality china place settings for 12; a fashion forward ranchwear outfit, ca. 1935, that has a split skirt for riding astride as well as side saddle; and a Chinese Imperial ceremonial outfit, ca. 1900, acquired on a missionary trip to China and left in a storage building for more than 50 years, appraised at $100,000 to $150,000. Throughout the 1950s, Elvis Presley led the rock and roll revolution in music and pop culture. In the 1960s, he concentrated mainly on his successful movie career. By 1968, it had been more than seven years since he had appeared on stage in front of a live audience. In June of 1968, Elvis taped his first television special in Burbank, California. It aired on December 3 of that same year and accomplished two things: it saved his career and showcased some of the best music of his life. Premiering on NBC, it attracted 42% of the viewing audience, was the network’s biggest ratings victory that year and the season’s top-rated show. Seen by over 120 million people worldwide, Les Miserables is undisputedly one of the world's most popular musicals. Coinciding with its 35th triumphant year in London's West End, Cameron Mackintosh produced a spectacular sell-out staged concert version at the Gielgud Theatre featuring an all-star cast including Michael Ball as Javert, Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Carrie Hope Fletcher as Fantine,and Matt Lucas as Thenardier. Based on Victor Hugo's 1862 novel of the same name and set in early 19th-century France, Les Miserables features the stories of individuals struggling for redemption and revolution. The magnificent score includes the songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "Bring Him Home," "One Day More" and "On My Own."
