The Last Days of Jesus.

The Last Days of Jesus

This historical documentary special focuses on evidence gathered from several sources -- archaeology, Roman historians, Jewish texts and insights into the Gospels -- that suggests that Roman politics ultimately led to the crucifixion of Christ. Based on archaeological evidence and historical analysis, "Last Days of Jesus" illustrates how the changing political landscape in Rome impacted Jesus's life, and it also sheds new light on Jesus's final days. The special also shows the connections between Rome, Jerusalem and the Galilee.
