Civilizations.

Civilizations

Actor Liev Schreiber narrates this nine-part series that explores the power of art throughout history, from the earliest civilizations to present day. Filmed on six continents -- Africa, Asia Australasia, Europe and North and South America -- the series uses drone and camera movement as well as macro-photography to allow viewers to immerse themselves in the featured locations and to bring remote objects up close to highlight their detail, craftsmanship and artistry. Some segments include the human form in art, landscape painting, and art in the age of revolution, war and scientific change.
