Austin PBS Welcomes Carolyn Connolly as New CMO

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Austin, TX)—February 6, 2023— Today, Austin PBS announces that Carolyn Connolly has joined the organization as their new Chief Marketing Officer. Carolyn has been building award-winning digital experiences for over 20 years for a multitude of Fortune 500 companies like Allstate Insurance, J.P. Morgan Chase, HBO, Marriott Hotels, and many others.

Connolly will lead the digital consumer experience and marketing strategies to help amplify Austin PBS as an organization that informs, entertains, and bridges communities in Central Texas and beyond. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, Head of Brand Experiences for Restore Hyper Wellness®, where she helped drive the evolution from a start-up brand to a nationally recognized leader in the Health & Wellness space. Connolly previously served as Vice President, Creative Director at Rain for Growth, a direct-to-consumer performance agency where she helped elevate Rain’s digital capabilities while driving new and incremental business growth. Before Rain, she spent nearly two decades at one of Austin’s most successful women-owned innovation-led advertising agencies, T3, where she became one of the first female creative directors for the organization at the time.

Connolly is a seasoned senior leader, brand-builder, storyteller, and creative problem solver committed to addressing business challenges and leading teams to profitability through data-driven insights. Her work has been recognized with over 50 award wins from competitions like OMMA to ADDYs, Webbys to AAA, and a Google Case Study with mentions in Adweek. As an active leader in cultivating company culture, her passion for equality and diversity is driven by participating in programs like the 3% Movement as well as coaching and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Her passion for music and art has been fueled by catching new bands at SXSW music for over 20 years and counting.
