Doc World

"Doc World" is a weekly showcase that brings international documentaries to an American audience. Produced by WORLD Channel, with funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, stories offer a unique and contemporary view into the realities of people and societies from many nations. Episodes include a profile of Abdul Aziz Ghazi, a Pakistani cleric who leads a radical Islamic school that advocates jihad; a small village in Nepal that tries to harness sustainable energy by building a wind turbine; and young Israeli women who are drafted into military service.
